Dr. KATIE ZEJDLIK

Dr. KATIE ZEJDLIK is the Scientific Director of Field Operations and oversees all ArchaeoTek excavations projects in Transylvania. She joined the team in 2015.

Affiliation: The Ohio State University

Research: Her research has focused on placing the cemeteries within the larger context of Transylvania and the Hungarian Kingdom. Katie’s specific projects have involved a study of horse-back riding, female nobility, multi-person interment, and the use of ossuaries at the site.
