Dr. Natalia Handziuk

Dr. Natalia M. Handziuk holds a PhD from the Anthropology Department at the University of Toronto. She specializes in pre-history and proto-history of Southwest Asia (Neolithic through Early Bronze Age). Her research examines how people came together to build and manage communities, from the first villages to the first cities. She is currently the Principal Investigator on the Tall al-Handaquq South Archaeology Project (Jordan) as well as a researcher on the Wādī Ziqlāb Archaeology Project (Jordan), the Expedition to the Dead Sea Plain (Jordan), and the Gadachrili Gora Regional Archaeology Project (Georgia).
