Dr. Angelica Balos

Dr. Angelica Balos is an archaeologist by profession and works at the Department of Culture of Hunedoara County. She has participated in systematic archaeological research at several archaeological sites in Romania:  Racoș (Tipia Ormenișului and Piatra Detunată, Brașov County), Coslogeni (Călărași County), the Roman camp at Cigmău, Măgura Uroiului, and the roman villa at Rapoltu Mare (Hunedoara County). Since 2000, she has participated in the "Computer Applications and Quantitative Methods in Archaeology" conference where she first came into contact with historical reconstruction through various computational methods. Also, to protect and promote the heritage of Hunedoara County, she has been a primary organizer and participant in the "DACFEST – under the sign of the wolf" festival from 2010 to the present.
